Drysuit Diver Specialty Course
Why not dive dry and stay warm as a drysuit diver. Just because the water is cold you don’t have to be. More often than not, in colder waters, dry suit diving can make the difference between experiencing multiple dives in one day or making one chilly wet suit dive and listening to others tell you about what you’ve missed on the dives you were just too cold to make.
Diving a drysuit is often normal practice in colder climates but even in warmer climates like Thailand many technical divers who are doing longer dives will use a drysuit to help maintain body temperature on longer deeper dives and for the comfort factor of staying dry.
As people come in many different shapes and sizes so do drysuits. Therefore to complete this course you will need to bring with you a drysuit that fits you. At this time we do not have a selection of rental suits to use on the drysuit diver course

Drysuit diving in Thailand
Water covers about 70 percent of the earth and most of that water is either temperate or cold. For scuba divers, that means you have several choices when it comes to diving in most regions; don’t dive, cut the dive short due to shivering and blueness of skin, struggle with a thicker than normal, extra bulky wetsuit or scuba dive in a dry suit.
Although diving in a dry suit is a little different from diving in a wetsuit, it isn’t difficult. You’ll just need to learn what kind of dry suit is best for the diving you do and how buoyancy control techniques differ slightly from those you use while scuba diving in a wetsuit.
