PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver Course

The PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver Course expands on the basic knowledge you have already acquired from your Rebreather Instructor and provides training to a maximum of 30 metres/98 feet (40 metres/130 feet if you have a PADI Deep Diver certification), including carrying a bailout cylinder.

Prerequisites

•PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Rebreather Diver certifications (or qualifying certification from a recognized organization) on the Type R rebreather used in the course, The Poseidon MK6 Discovery.
•30 logged dives
•18 years old
•PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (prior to PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver certification)

PADI Rebreather + Advanced Rebreather Diver

At Kiwidiver our Rebreather Instructors can to combine both the PADI Diver level and Advanced diver level Rebreather course.

The Poseidon MK6 Discovery Recreational Rebreather is currenly the only rebreather unit to meet PADI's Type-R clasification and Kiwidiver is the first dive centre in Thailand to purchase units for our 5 Star PADI Dive Center and train rebrether Instuctors.

The course starts with a morning in the classroom followed by assembly of the Poseidon MK6 and a pool training session to get used to the unit.

Day 2 is spent at the beach diving the unit in an open water environment.

Day 3 & 4 are on the boat diving 3 dives a day visiting some of the best dive sites Phuket has to offer. This is when you really learn the benefits of diving a rebreather under the supervision of a PADI Rebreather Instructor.
